Along with the authors text description of the charter I have Included a folder (text.plans) that contains all the individual flight plans in Notepad format and are more informative than the normal text.

For those of you that prefer a PDF file of the flight plans. An Email to me at dc3.charters@ntlworld.com will elicit by return a <>300Kbyte file. Don't forget to include the charter number!
If you haven't tried printing PDF files yet you will have a surprise. They do have that 'professional' look about them.
They cannot be included with the charter due to space restrictions at the DC3Airways website.

I am aware that sometimes when a charter is downloaded and installed in FSNavigator the altitude information is sometimes incorrectly displayed. It isn't the same for everyone which leads me to believe that it is the individual PC's causing the problem. Before you comdemn the author to a despicable end try the following settings in FSNavigator :-

If you open FSNavigator you will find on the menu bar a little black aeroplane, click this and a panel will open called 'Aircraft'.
In the top panel is 'Name'. Click on the down arrow, scroll down to Douglas DC-3 and select it.
For indicated airspeed [Kts] I have used; Cruise - 140......Climb - 105......Touch down - 80
For Altitude [ft] I have used; 11000.
For Rate [fpm] I have used; Climb - 700......Descent - 500.
For Fuel flow I have used; Gal/h......Cruise - 80......Climb - 120.......Descent - 80.
I have 'ticked'...set flightplan cruise altitude.
I have 'ticked'...set flightplan cruise speed.
You must then click on 'Save' and then on 'OK'.

I am hoping that if you insert these settings into FSNavigator your altitude variations will disappear. I think the very important setting is the Altitude which I originally inserted in bold but doesn't show in Notepad. It doesn't necessarily have to be 11000 ft but it should be higher than the greatest altitude in the flight plan you are using, if that makes sense.

If it works then let me know, we can then share the knowledge.

Enjoy this charter,

Norm Hancock. VP Charters.
