Hi Everyone,

Unzip the entire contents of the 'WR 04-02 Hurricane_Isabel.zip' file to a temporary directory.

1) Read through the included .doc and .txt files and view the .pdf files for the version of flight simulator you intend to use. If possible, print any, or all of the documents you deem necessary as a ready reference during the flight.

2) If you own FSNavigator, then install the FSNavigator file, Hurricane_Isabel.fsn, into Flight Simulator.

For FS2002, Place it in the C:/Program Files/Microsoft Games/FS2002/Modules/FSNavigator/Plan folder.

For FS2004, Place it in the C:/Program Files/Microsoft Games/Flight Simulator 9/Modules/FSNavigator/Plan Folder.

3) Install the Hurricane Isabel Weather file. This instruction is also included in the individual flight simulator folder.

The installation instructions for the Hurricane Isabel Weather file are quite simple and are as follows :-

The following instruction may vary a little depending on which version of Windows you have installed. This is for Windows XP.

From your temporary directory COPY THE FOLDER called 'WR 04-02 Hurricane Isabel' (not the contents! the whole folder).

Open Windows Explorer and work your way down to C:\Program Files\Microsoft Games\FS2002\flights. In FS2004 substitute 'Flight Simulator 9' for FS2002.

Open the 'flights' folder and paste the WR 04-02 Hurricane Isabel FOLDER into it - job done!

4) Before you start the Hurricane Isabel flight you must first start up the Hurricane Isabel weather. This is accomplished by :-

  a) Start up FS2002 or FS2004.

  b) On the toolbar, left click on 'Flights'.

  c) Scroll down to 'Select a Flight...' and left click on it.

  d) The box that opens contains two boxes. In the top one entitled '1. Choose a category:' scroll down to the entry called 'WR 04-02Hurricane Isabel' and left click on it. (probably near bottom of list)

  e) In the second box '2. Choose a flight' left click on the entry called 'WR 04-02 Hurricane Isabel Wilmington to Cherry Point'. Highlight it, then click on OK.

When the procedure above is accomplished you will find yourself at KILM, Wilmington Int'l Airport, Gate 1 with an exterior view of a Cessna 182S Skylane.

5) All you need to do now is change your aircraft to your favorite DC-3 and you are ready to fly Hurricane Isabel.

Enjoy this interesting flight.
