Aloha.zip ... Aloha Airlines by Kent Fortney

Kent Fortney, DCA-805, has assembled a documentation package for the regional routes of Aloha Airlines that is second to none. All of the documents are in PDF format for easy printing.

Aloha flew routes in the Hawaiian Islands in the 1950s that are particularly appropriate to DC-3 Airways.

INSTALLATION
============

Note that Aloha.zip is a large file, about 10 MB. Readable scans of the historical documents resulted in large files. The alternative was to omit this valuable information, not deemed acceptable.

Unzip Aloha.zip to an empty folder of your choice. It is recommended that you name this folder "Aloha Airlines" to easily remember it.

After unzipping Aloha.zip, Within the Aloha Airlines folder you will find six main sub-folders. These are:

1. "Flight Description" ... which contains the description of the ten included Aloha Airlines regional flights.

2.	"FSN Files" ... here are the fsn files for FS Navigator. Copy these files into the PLAN sub-folder of FSNavigator. The FSNavigator folder is in the Modules folder of fs9.

3.	"Route Charts" ... individual route charts and flight logs for each of the flights. Note that the data shown on the flight logs is for zero-wind conditions.

4.	"Airport Charts" ... with full information for each of the airports.

5. "Islands" ... a chart for each of the pertinent islands.

6.	"Historical Info" ... This rich resource includes the following:

a) The history of Aloha Airlines.
b) Original Aloha route-map in two printable formats.
c) Aloha's 1953 timetable.
d) An Aloha Travel Brochure from the 1950s.
