Welcome to DC-3 Airways!

You have, of course, downloaded the training package or you wouldn't have this READ_ME to sort through.

Everything is pretty self-explanatory. Depending on the simulator you run, move the flight plans to the appropriate folder. The flight plans were edited/created with Little NavMap. If you do not have this free utility, it has become almost essential to our hobby.

Just a word of warning; the document included is fairly outdated. Rather than re-write the entire document, I made notes in red italics describing the differences in waypoints and procedures that have changed over the various simulators available. Also, you will find references to training aircraft and panels. These have been excluded in this package because of their incompatability with anything newer than FSX (NOT Steam). I am trying to assemble some gurus who can bring the training aircraft into the new generation, but it is slow going.

Where I could, I used the following sims;

1. Flight Simulator X Steam Edition
2. Prepar3d v3, 4, and 5
3. X-Plane 11

I cannot vouch for the compatability with other sims.

Enjoy your time with us here at DC-3 Airways!
