fs2k2 Nav Trainer
===============

Turn on Word Wrap in the Edit Tab above.

This is the standard Cessna 172 but with a custom panel to enhance learning the principles of Flight Navigation.

This program will install a complete aircraft onto your hard disk. No files will be over-written. However, the stock Cessna 172 must be present in your FS2002 directory since the Nav Trainer aliases that aircraft's sound files.

Since the installation includes both the aircraft files and gauge files, the install path is into the main FS2002 directory:

If you installed Flight Simulator FSX with no changes the path is:

	C:\Program Files\Microsoft Games\FS2002

The self-extracting file included here assumes that this is where FS2002 is installed on your computer. If your FS2002 program is in a different directory, you will have the opportunity during installation to identify the correct directory. Just click the "Browse" button (a rectangle with three dots in it) to the right of a window that will appear showing the intended path of installation.

INSTALLATION
============

1) Close your FS2002 Program and all other Windows programs.

2) If you are unsure of the directory where your Microsoft FS2002 is installed take a moment to locate that directory now, and write down the path ... you will need that information if you did not install FS2002 to the default directory shown above.

3) Unzip this file, "nav_trainer_2k2.zip" into a temporary directory. Four files will appear:

	Readme_2k2.txt ... which you are now reading.
	fs2002_nav_trainer.exe ... The main install file.
        panel-2k2.jpg ... a picture of the panel.
        cad_legal.txt ... Allowable use of the CAD files.

4) Double click on the filename "fs2002_nav_trainer.exe" ...

5) Then follow the on-screen instructions.

6) Again, this installation will not overwrite any existing files.

7) Those uncomfortable with self-extracting files like this one should initially install the program into a temporary directory then manually move the individual files and folders into FS2002.

8) That's it ... you're finished!

8) You will find this Nav Trainer in the Flight Simulator Aircraft Listing as:

	Cessna Nav Trainer

Thanks to Norman Hancock and Dave Bitzer for the gauge designs where existing gauges were not available. Thanks also to Kyle Copeland for the much-improved panel Bitmaps.

You're welcome to use the included custom gauges in your personal panel designs, too, if desired. But note, no money may be charged for the custom gauges or any aircraft or panel using these custom gauges. Credit must also be given to the gauge designers.

Enjoy your flights.
