DC-3 Training panel upgrade ... FS2004

Turn on Word Wrap in the Edit Tab above.

1) This upgrade adds the ADF Digital Readout to the first-released FS2004 panel. Only Run this upgrade if you have already downloaded the DC-3 with Training Panel and if the ADF Digital Readout is not functional.

2) If you installed Flight Simulator 2004 with no changes the path for this file is:

	C:\program files\microsoft games\flight simulator 9

The self-extracting file included here assumes that this is where Flight Simulator 2004 is installed on your computer. If your Flight Simulator 2004 program is in a different directory, you will have the opportunity during installation to identify the correct directory. Just click the "Browse" button to the right of a window that will appear showing the intended path of installation. That button is not labeled "Browse" but has three dots in the middle of it.

INSTALLATION:

1) Close your FS2004 Program.

2) If you are unsure of the directory where your Microsoft Flight Simulator 2004 is installed take a moment to locate that directory now, and write down the path ... you will need that information if you did not install FS2004 to the default directory shown above.

3) Unzip this file, "dc3_tng_2k4_up.zip" into a temporary directory. three files will appear:

Readme_2k4_up.txt ... which you are now reading.
	dc3_2k4_tng_up.exe
cad_legal.txt ... important information on the use of the "cad" gauges.

4) Double click on the filename "dc3_2k4_tng_up.exe" ...

5) The pop-up panel will show the intended path to download the upgrader. If you did not install FS2004 in the default directory, now is the time to change the path for your download. The upgrade files will install into your "Flight Simulator 9" folder.

6) Once satisfied with the path, click "Unzip."

7) You must allow this upgrade to overwrite existing files, or it will not install properly!!

8) Click "OK" then "Close" and you're finished!

9) You will still find this DC-3 Trainer in the Flight Simulator Aircraft Listing as:

	Douglas/DC-3/Training Panel

Enjoy your flights.
